Hello! I’m Helen, creator of The Slow Down Collective

I’m so delighted that you found our corner of the internet dedicated to all things slow.

In 2019, burnout, anxiety and panic attacks led to me being placed on a 12-month waiting list for talking therapy (CBT). Waiting that long to feel better wasn’t an option. I needed to find ways to help me feel better…

So I started searching. I read lots, visited a nutritionist, had some reiki, learned about sleep, went to a cacao ceremony, started exercising more…the list goes on! And over time by slowing down, tuning in and making lots of small changes I started to feel more ‘me’ again.

The Slow Down Collective was born out of a deep passion to help others find ways to slow down too.
