I’ve been wanting to write some words about walking for a while and 50 days into my self-imposed #walk100days challenge feels like a great time to do it.
For a long time I’ve understood the positive impact that a gentle walk and fresh air has on overall wellbeing. But it’s only this year that I’ve truly come to appreciate the transformative power that a simple daily walk can have.

For a while I’ve had the niggling thought that I’d like to switch up the way that I show up online.
So I’m going with my gut and The Slow Down Collective is going to come off Instagram for the rest of 2022….
Some words on grief
In the last three months of 2020 I lost two close family members.
I’ve gone through the motions in the immediate days afterwards… But grief hits you in the little moments. The tiny reminders in the days and weeks afterwards that someone is no longer here.
